How does the AI work without internet?
Mochi Crew uses a compact AI language model that runs directly on your device's Neural Engine. The model is bundled with the app and powers both chat and camera vision — everything works offline with no data sent to any server.
Which devices are supported?
Mochi Crew runs on iPhone (iOS 17+), iPad (iPadOS 17+), Mac (macOS 14+, Apple M1 or later), and Apple Vision Pro (visionOS 1.0+). The on-device AI model requires Apple's Neural Engine.
My Mochi seems sad/hungry. What do I do?
Feed your Mochi, play games, and talk to them! Stats naturally decrease over time (just like a real pet needs attention). Use treats for a quick boost, or play mini-games to raise happiness and bond levels.
Can I have multiple Mochis?
Currently, Mochi Crew supports one companion per device. Each Mochi develops a unique personality based on your interactions, making the bond more meaningful.
What does the Best Friend Pass include?
The Best Friend Pass ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) is an optional subscription that supports development and unlocks premium features. The core Mochi experience is completely free.
How do I cancel the Best Friend Pass?
Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Find Mochi Crew and tap "Cancel Subscription." Your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
I purchased an item but it's not showing up
Try the following: Open the Shop tab and tap "Restore" in the top right corner. This will restore all your purchases. If the issue persists, contact us below.
Can I transfer my Mochi to a new phone?
If you have iCloud sync enabled, your Mochi's data will automatically transfer when you sign into the same Apple ID on your new device. Purchased items are also restored through the App Store.
What is Scavenger Hunt?
Your pet sends you on real-world missions! Point your camera at objects to complete challenges and earn rewards. There are 80+ challenges across 8 categories — it's like a game within the game.
How does Bath Time & Grooming work?
Your pet gets visibly dusty over time. Give them a bath with soap, scrub, and rinse interactions, then brush their coat for a sparkly grooming session. Keeping them clean boosts their happiness!
Is my data private?
